
Elena Bozzetta
ITALYElena Bozzetta is Senior veterinarian Responsible of the Department of Diagnostic Specialistic at Istituto Zooprofilattico Spermentale of Piemonte Liguria and Valle d’Aosta in Turin, Italy. She’s got a PhD in Veterinary biotechnology, University of Turin and a Master degree in Sanitary Management, University of Milan.
She is Responsible of the National reference center for anabolics in food producing animals through biological methods; in this frame she is in charge of set up and validation of target and untarget analytical methods to be used in the offical national laboratories net, training of laboratory and field operators, preparation of risk based sampling plan.
She is the scientific coordinator of research project based on experimental studies for the development of innovative techniques (nanotechnologies, proteomics, metabolomics, genomics) for the diagnosis of illegal treatments to adress analytical methods of control.
Her field of research has widened to the development of strategies of fight against food frauds in support of authorities and to certificate food production of excellence.
She is author of more than 100 peer-reviewed articles.
